tell LM that he can eat them too. You shouldn’t make them a dietary staple, but they are made of corn starch, which is why they dissolve, and you can eat them. I used to do it just to make my mom queasy.

This is hilarious! My kids used to get a kick out of the boxes that the gifts came in…one year we thought about just wrapping empty boxes for each of them 🙂 We didn’t, but we thought about it long & hard!
